In order to succeed in life, financially vulnerable people must be equipped with necessary skills, attitudes and knowledge, especially in relation to effective money management.
On behalf of the City of Edmonton and Calgary Financial Empowerment Collaboratives, you are invited to attend a Financial Empowerment Forum with guest speaker, Jonathan Mintz, a renowned leader on financial inclusion and poverty reduction.
This forum will benefit your work whether you are working front line or looking at policy or systems approaches to financial empowerment for financially vulnerable populations. This event will look at innovative approaches to expand financial knowledge, reduce debt, grow income, increase savings and build assets.
In addition to Jonathan’s keynote address, there will be a panel discussion and I will be personally leading one of the many breakout sessions. Join myself and other practitioners as we come together to share key Financial Empowerment interventions and innovative approaches from across the province.
Please join me this Friday for this important and necessary initiative!
