The FISH (Financial Independence Serving Humanity) Foundation is a non-profit organization that is a major sponsor of the charitable “Go FISH” Fund administered by the Edmonton Community Foundation to support non-profit organizations in developing and delivering financial literacy programs, and financial literacy training to people in the community. The goal is to support individuals in the attainment of financial independence and live in a thrive mode versus a survival mode. From this place of financial stability then families and individuals can give back more to their communities to help pay it forward.

Goals

1

Develop and deliver financial literacy resources and programs to organizations in support of 500,000 individuals.

2

Support 50,000 families in becoming financially independent so they can thrive and live their lifestyle of choice.

3

Teach a man to fish, he eats for a life time.
Teach a man to sell fish, and he can share his wealth with the world.”

Why FISH?

fishlayout1_400x334

Many people are living in survival mode and do not have the financial capacity to help others and give back fully to their communities. Taking the financial stress away from individuals can have a ripple effect and positively impact those around to make communities stronger and healthier.

We are passionate about giving the tools to organizations to help families so they can achieve financial independence and empower future generations. The “Go FISH” concept also supports the philosophy that people should take time to enjoy life, and rejuvenate themselves. When their finances are in order they can more easily take time off work, and have stress-free vacations.
